Gigantic Post welcomed Joe Berlinger, Bruce Sinofsky and company from Radical Media to offline edit “Paradise Lost 3: Purgatory” in our facility.  Picture Editor Alyse Speigel utilized our 24TB storage system to house all the years of archival footage they needed to cut together this terrific film.  Re-Recording Engineer, Tom Paul, mixed the film in Mix A while Gigantic Post’s team of editors brought this film to life.

“Paradise Lost 3″ is the third installment in what is arguably one of the biggest mis-carrages of justice in the history of our country.  The story follows three teenagers that are falsely convicted of killing three five year olds in West Memphis, Arkansas.  After garnering national attention for almost twenty years, justice is finally served and the men are freed, but not before more questions surface about who may have killed the boys.  Rarely has a film generated such an outcry for justice.  We are honored to have worked on such a project.

Just last week, the nominations for the 84th annual Academy Awards announced it’s nominees and “Paradise Lost 3″ was nominated for “Best Documentary”.
